Programming Systems B.V. is a young dynamic company. The company designs, produces, imports, distributes, sells and services programming and test equipment World Wide. Products are sold under the brandname "ART".
The brandname originated when ART (Advanced Research Technology) wanted to develop a series of magnetic-card-readers in 1987. However, to produce magnetic-card-readers the company needed an (E)EPROM-programmer. Since a reasonable priced programmer was not available it decided to develop and produce its own (E)EPROM-programmer, the first EPP-1. The programmer was followed by the EPP-1c, EPP-1f and the EPP-2.
The strength of Programming Systems is its structured sequential development of activities. Key activity areas are detailed below.
Information science is changing very fast because of technological developments. The time to earn back development costs on new versions of hard- and software gets less and less. Programming Systems has followed this philosophy by putting emphasis on continued development of device drivers in the existing software and the continued upgrading at component level, of the hardware, to reduce product failure, to reduce returns of faulty product and to maintain a low cost price.
